Did you know that you can zoom in or out while you are viewing a image or PDF using Quick Look?
To zoom in on an image press and hold the alt key while clicking anywhere in the image. You can now move the image around in the Quick Look window.

To zoom out, you just have to press and hold the alt an the shift key while clicking anywhere in the image you are previewing.
To zoom in on a PDF, press command, shift and “+” (plus character). To zoom back out again press command and “-” (minus character).
These zooming functions are really useful when you are viewing large images or if you have a small screen.
